As of July 2026, Mailchimp is free to 250 contacts, with Essentials from about $13/month, Standard from about $20/month and Premium from about $350/month. Those are entry prices at the smallest contact tier. Every plan then climbs a ladder that runs from 500 contacts to over a million, and the climb is where the money is. Nothing about your behaviour has to change for the bill to grow — the list grows, so the bill grows.
